Terms of service

All procedures are considered final sale. Once work is completed, it is irreversible, and items cannot be returned to their original state.

Projected completion times are estimates and not guarantees of when an order will be ready. While we strive to meet original item conditions, we cannot guarantee that all services (repairs, cleaning, alterations, dyeing, stretching, etc.) will achieve this outcome. We take the utmost care in processing items, using methods that, in our judgment, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual item.

All repairs, cleaning, alterations, dyeing, stretching, etc., are non-refundable. Once procedures are completed, they are considered final sale, and the work cannot be reversed to restore items to their original state.

Advance payment is required for all repairs to initiate the work. For specialty repairs, including replicating parts, complete resoling/refurbishing, dyeing, priority service orders, and alterations, full payment is necessary before we can proceed with the work – applicable across all channels.

Please ensure careful packaging of your mail-in item(s) and include a copy of your repair estimate. If unable to print the estimate, you can include the estimate number with the item(s). Failure to include the estimate number or contact information may lead to delays in processing your repair.

We strongly advise using insured and traceable shipping methods, such as UPS or insured mail.

Any irreparable items or those you choose not to repair will be returned at the customer’s expense.

Mark Marvin Leathers assumes no liability for packages damaged or lost by mailing carriers.

We meticulously inspect, document, and professionally package all repairs to guarantee the secure delivery of your items before handing them over to UPS.

For domestic shipping of repair orders, we exclusively use UPS (United Parcel Service), and for international shipping, we utilize USPS (United States Postal Service) or DHL.

Please note that any duty, import taxes, customs fees, or other charges associated with incoming and outgoing orders are the customer’s responsibility, and we are not liable for such expenses.

You have the option to choose whether to sign for your order upon delivery, providing an added layer of security for your item(s). This choice is ideal for customers who prioritize the assurance of a signed delivery. In the event you are not available at the time of delivery, UPS will leave a re-delivery slip for your convenience.

Alternatively, if you prefer to waive the signature requirement, UPS will leave your shipment outside the premises. It’s important to note that orders containing high-value items may still require a signature, even if you initially opted not to sign for your order upon arrival. While we understand this might be inconvenient, our aim is to ensure the secure delivery of your items.

Please be aware that shipping charges are non-refundable. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing a tracking number to monitor its progress online. The tracking number will become active within 24 hours.

Mark Marvin Leathers assumes no responsibility for any damage to items and/or retail products or loss that may occur during shipping. In the event that you receive a damaged order, kindly reach out to the shipment carrier to initiate a claim. It is crucial to retain all packaging materials and damaged goods before proceeding with a claim.

Mark Marvin Leathers does not accept responsibility for packages that may be damaged or lost in transit by mailing carriers.

Limited Service Warranty: Mark Marvin Leathers guarantees that services will be executed in a professional and competent manner, aligning with the care and skill exercised by others in similar services under comparable circumstances. The exclusive limited service warranty outlined herein applies regardless of contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory. No other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall be applicable. This limited service warranty constitutes the sole liability of Mark Marvin Leathers concerning its services.

Limitation of Liability: Mark Marvin Leathers and its affiliates shall not be held liable to the customer for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or similar damages, including replacement costs, arising from the use of the service or any products obtained through the service. This applies to claims related to the use of the service or any product, irrespective of fault or negligence by Mark Marvin Leathers or its affiliates, and regardless of whether Mark Marvin Leathers or its affiliates were informed of the potential for such damages or losses. In jurisdictions where the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages is not allowed, Mark Marvin Leathers’ liability shall be restricted to the maximum extent permitted by law.
