Bottega Veneta History
Bottega Venteta was founded in 1966 by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro in Vicenza, Italy. It was first known for its leather goods, which it is still known for but has now expanded into other areas. Zengiaro was inspired by the architecture around him and Bottega adopted a “when your own initials are enough” slogan which means that they want to be known for the quality, design, and craftmanship rather than a logo. This could be seen as Bottega became known for it’s feature of a braided weaving technique which is now a signature element across all of Bottega’s accessory’s. However this was something that held them back late 70s and 90s with the rise of luxury branding. It did not stop them from becoming what they are today and the designers that took over the house years after would stick to the brands focus of craftmanship over a logo.

The name Bottega Veneta translates to “Venetian shop”. It is the brands connection to Venetian culture.

No, as of right now we are only accepting mail in orders, or delivery Pickups/Drop Offs if in the NYC area.
The price differs which each item. Every item is unique and may require different materials and time depending on the design, color, material etc. We try our best to give the best possible quote on the repair needed, and discuss this with you through email or through our virtual repair service.
We will need half of what the quote was upfront in order to start the repair process, and the second half of the payment will be needed once we are done a ready to ship the item(s) back to you.
